2) Why did not silicone rubber mold cure at all?
Most Common Reasons For Unsuccessful Mold Making Attempts
1. Didn¡¯t mix silicone rubber and curing agent evenly.
2. Wrong mix ratio. Please kindly noted that our silicone rubber mix by weight, not volume.
3. It¡¯s too cold without in room temperature 25 oC.
4. Add less quantity of curing agent. Our mix ratio is range from 3%-5%.
3) Why did the silicone rubber stick my molds?
Model Was Not Properly Released. Firstly, the wrong release agent was applied. Secondly,not enough was applied. Thirdly, it was not applied properly.
4) What is the best method for mixing mold rubber?
1. Please stir slowly and deliberately to make sure that you scrape the sides and bottom of your mixing container several times.
2. Pay attention to mix silicone rubber compound evenly.
5) How many curing agent shall I add?
The mix ratio of tin silicone rubber and curing agent is 3%-5% by weight. If need for slow curing time, please add 2.8% to 3%.Otherwise, please add 4% to 5%.
6) What is the exact curing agent based on different temperature?
7 deg----at 3.8% to 4%
10deg---3.5%
15 deg--- at 3.2%
20 deg---at 3%
25 deg---at 2.8% to 3%
40 deg----at 2%-2.5%
7) What is the package of silicone rubber?
The package is 5kg/drum,20kg/drum,25kg/drum and 200kg/drum.

9) How can I store my silicone rubber mold?
1.Clean the mold cavity with a sponge and soapy water and let dry.Do not demold. You will be storing the mold with the plaster casting in it to help maintain dimensional stability.
2.Place on a flat level surface in a cool, dry environment out of ultraviolet light.
10)How can I store my silicone rubber compound?
Place in a cool and dry environment unseal package
11) What is the shelf time of silicone rubber compound?
The shelf time of silicone rubber is 12 month in unseal package within 25 oC.
12£©What effect does temperature have on silicone rubber?
Silicone rubber composites are affected by temperature in different way as it's chemical.
In order to get long shelf time, please store and use silicone products at room temperature.
13£©How to get a high reproduction times of silicone mold?
Except the normal making of silicone mold, please kindly add fiber glass 2-3 layers when you make brushing silicone molds.
14) Why did the silicone rubber with bubbles?
Do not the vacuum machine. After mixing silicone rubber and curing agent evenly, please make vacuum machine to exhaust bubbles.
